Contribution to HR Community
The ‘Contribution to HR Community’ award recognizes Mr Amirnuddin for his exceptional work in promoting the retraining and upskilling of Malaysia’s workforce. 

After serving at MITI (International Trade and Industry Ministry), the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry, and Mindef (Ministry of Defence) in finance roles, Mr Amirnuddin joined the HRDF as Director of Finance in 1998. He was promoted to Deputy CEO and then CEO in January 2010. Throughout his time, Mr Amirnuddin has developed and implemented a number of far-reaching initiatives and programmes with the goal of creating a 50% skilled workforce for Malaysia by 2020. 

Under his guidance and stewardship, the HRDF has gone from strength to strength, building a solid future for Malaysia’s workers and the nation as a whole.
