Contribution to HR Community

This “Contribution to HR Community” Award recognises Prof Dr Raduan Che Ros’s contribution in the area of Higher Education and Human Capital development. 

He is a Professor of Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations. Currently, a Special Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education Malaysia, he has also been appointed as the secretary for the National Council of Professors (MPN) which was officially launched by the Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Abdul Razak on 31 March 2010. MPN was established to help the government on the capacity of expert advisory in championing various programmes for the development and advancement of the nation. 

He has authored 3 books, 6 chapters in books, 10 academic modules and has published over 100 journal articles and conference proceedings and papers. All his publications mark the evidence of knowledge sharing and contribution to human capital on the whole. He has supervised to successful completion of a total of 28 Doctoral students, 25 of which he served as Main Supervisor and 3 as a member of the Supervisory Committee. This is an extra ordinary achievement in human capital development. Besides excellent achievement in academia, he is actively involved in National Manpower Planning and frequently coins strategic ideas to develop quality human resources.
