The “Contribution to HR Community” award recognises the work of Chua Chai Peng for her work on architecting HR strategies and implementing innovative models.

Chai Ping very recently joined Experian as the Human Resources Director in their Global Development Centre in Kuala Lumpur. Over a career that spans more than 20 years, she joined the “Big 4” fraternity in Consulting before her foray into HR, providing strategic direction and driving the people agenda with the business. During her tenure in Accenture, she was the Country HR Lead of Malaysia & Vietnam and subsequently became the Asia Pacific HR Business Partner for Accenture Strategy, rolling out the Accenture Growth Model where Accenture reorganised its global operating structures. She also played a key role in leading and managing Accenture’s International Women’s Day and was awarded Champion of the Accenture Global Inclusion & Diversity Excellence Award in 2013. 

Prior to joining Experian, Chai Ping was the HR Director of Mondelez Malaysia (Mondelez International is the largest snacking company in the world, owning power brands such as Oreo, Milka, Cadbury, etc.). In addition, Chai Ping is one of TalentCorp’s Diversity Advocates and has been featured in various publications and the media. She is a Member of the MIHRM National Council, Mentor for the APEC Women in Transportation Mentoring Programme and an Industry Adjunct Faculty for INTI International Universities & Colleges.

The Asia HRD Awards Committee is honoured to bestow upon Chua Chai Ping the “Contribution to HR Community Award 2017” for her work on championing people development.
